PRIVACY POLICY.
This page explains what data is processed by the Rivals Union website and Rivals Union Live desktop app, and why.
Effective: 31 August 20261. Scope
This policy covers the Rivals Union web community, UID-linked player profiles and the Rivals Union Live app running on Overwolf.
2. Live match data
Rivals Union Live processes game and match events permitted by Overwolf on your device. The roster, visible player name/UID, selected hero, team relationship, map, mode, match lifecycle and permitted K/D/A fields may be normalized in temporary memory. The MVP does not upload live match payloads to Rivals Union, and clears session state when the game closes.
3. Competitive data we exclude
Damage or healing totals, ELO, ultimate percentage, cooldowns, hidden opponent information and raw provider payloads are excluded from the live analysis model.
4. Web account and profile
The web account processes email and session information required by the identity provider. If a user voluntarily links a Marvel Rivals UID, only a normalized profile summary and historical statistics snapshot may be stored from the external profile provider. UID, email and raw match history are not displayed on public profiles.
5. Sharing and sale
Live match data is not sold. Account and profile data is processed only to operate the service, maintain security and provide community features selected by the user. It is not transferred to third parties except where required by law or service infrastructure.
6. Third-party platforms
The desktop app runs on Overwolf. Its installation, updates and platform telemetry are governed by Overwolf's own terms and privacy policy. If an external player-profile provider is unavailable, the live app continues to work.
7. Retention and control
Live session state is not stored permanently. You may make your web profile private and request deletion of account-related community data through the official Rivals Union support channel. Uninstalling the app removes its local application files.
8. Changes and contact
We update the effective date when this policy materially changes. Privacy and support requests are accepted through the support channel published on the Rivals Union website or its official Overwolf store listing.
